Since 1888, KBB Music has been with Kiwi musicians all over the country.
From Kirk-Burnnand & Brown, as we were known then, the name was changed to KBB Music in 2003.
Starting out as a boutique music shop in the Plaza Theatre building (see right) on Queen Street back in the days, to Landmark House, then upstairs at 47 High Street in 1984, KBB Music moved to Manukau Road, Epsom, Auckland in 2002.
The most recent move in 2012 to a new, much bigger home only a few minutes down the road to 377 Manukau Road, Epsom, Auckland, means we are now able to house a number of bigger instruments in store such as grand pianos. The new showroom also have a dedicated 'Music Education Room' for teachers, practice rooms for trying out instruments, a fully-equipped Repair Workshop and Recital Room for instore performances.
* Seven stores nationwide - Epsom (the Original Brass & Woodwind Specialists), Albany, Takapuna & Botany Town Centre in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch.
* A dedicated Music Education Team providing support to music educators around the country
*A specialist in-house Repair Workshop
* A well-maintained Musical Instrument Rental fleet supplying student instruments to budding musicians nationwide
