General Website Information &
Listed below are a few pointers that my help with the use of the website: If you have an enquiry on any point listed below, use the Contact Us link to post your question.
Most of the site is set up as a virtual shopping cart / ordering system: most of the product pages can be accessed from the links provided by the Search Engines.
Not all products are available all the time. The site is as much an information site as it is an ordering site. Some high end products may need to be specially ordered from the manufacturer. Contact Us for details.
Nothing is purchased by clicking on the Add button, all this does is add the product to a shopping basket. There are two more steps that need to be completed before the list can be sent to us for processing.
The reverse of your sales invoice contains all your warranty information and our Terms and Conditions. The details on the front of the invoice are what have been used to identify you in our system. If there is a spelling mistake, or an administration mistake, please contact us immediately so that it can be rectified.
Updates to our information practices:
SRP: - Suggested/Suppliers Retail Price (where one exists) : As set by the official supplier in NZ. All prices are in NZ dollars and include GST.
Prices indicated on this website are therefore subject to change without notice. While we make every effort to keep the prices shown on the site up-to-date, there may be occasions when there are price changes from a product distributor that we are not immediately aware of, which may result in a slight delay in the website prices being updated. If there is a price increase on an item you have ordered we will not process the order until we have advised you of the change and have your approval to proceed.
Discounts: We aim to represent our lowest, most competitive prices at all times on our website, If you feel that our price is higher than that offered by a competitor, please let us know and a senior member of our online team will review this for you.
POA – Price on Application: The website shows “up to date” stock and pricing for product that is currently on hand.
However, due to the vast number of products available to us, the highly specialized nature of some items and our various supply arrangements, we may have run out of stock or be awaiting re-stocking at that time. In order to keep our listings “live” on the web, our system will log these items as POA [Price - or Product- on Application]. In addition, there might be items awaiting arrival or undergoing re-pricing, or we may not have the latest available price from our supplier. Again these will show as POA. Click on the ‘Click to Apply’ link on the product page.
Purchasing Terms & Conditions
Your credit card details do not get processed or transmitted through or via KBB Musics website; all transactions are processed through a secure payment service provider. An online approval is the first step in a two step process. KBB Music uses Direct Payment Solutions (DPS) to provide this service. DPS hosts and manages the payment page. Once the final details of the transaction are completed and the goods are shipped, the sale is then completed by a KBB Music staff member for added security.
Your credit card details are not held by KBB Music and cannot be accessed by KBB Music staff.
All credit card sales are for New Zealand based cards only. Overseas ordering is dealt with on a case by case basis due to: manufacturer restrictions on distribution, warranty and freight issues. Please give full contact details when ordering.
No other warranties either express or implied by law are made with respect to these goods.
Business Use / Purchases and the Consumer Guarantees Act:
“Business” includes any performance of a public nature - whether paid or otherwise - and includes, but is not limited to, Schools, Churches, Institutions, working musicians, installations, hospitality, and studios. This exclusion also applies for goods purchased for resale or use in repairs or goods used for purposes other than domestic, personal and/or household use. No other warranties either express or implied by law are made with respect to these goods.
Finance Figures and Options
We choose to partner with Finance NOW, one of NZ’s leading financial solutions providers. With a solid backing, first class reputation and a range of inventive finance products, Finance NOW and KBB Music have a solution for your investment including business finance and leasing options.
Weekly Figures - the weekly figure is calculated on a 12, 24 or 36 month term, with no deposit, a $55 booking fee, interest rate of 19.4% and a $2.75 per month administration fee.
Figures are indicative only and may differ slightly from actual figures which will be confirmed on finance contract at the time of purchase depending on what options are taken.
Insurance is recommended as it offers further, specific cover on you and the goods that your household insurance may not cover.

Finance 0% Interest Promotions:
1. Minimum purchase $300.
Freight - Interbranch/International
Occasionally, your specific requirements cannot be met by items we have in stock and a special order may be appropriate.
The following is a basic “guide” to our freight policies if goods are needed urgently (ie 24-72hrs):
2. If you simply want to VIEW something that has to be freighted in, you pay the freight to get it to the Branch closest to you: This is called a “Transfer Fee” and it may be refundable on purchase. The client will be separately invoiced for the Transfer Fee at the time of the order.
3. If you decide to purchase the goods, then the Transfer Fee (freight charge) is refunded off the purchase price (unless the goods are already discounted). If you decide not to purchase, or the goods are discounted, the Transfer Fee (freight charge) is not refundable.
4. If you have paid freight but DECIDE TO BUY something else, then the Transfer Fee (freight charge) is not refundable.
Your Local Branch Manager’s discretion applies on all points and at all times.

Freight / Shipping Information – Website Purchases:
If there is a refund on the freight charge, it will be issued to you where appropriate.
Freight charges are noted as 'FREIGHT AND PACKAGING' on your invoice and cover the freight cost as well as the packaging, sending and insurance.
If your order is received by 1:00 PM on a business day it will usually be shipped the same day if possible. Orders received after 1:00 PM will be usually shipped on the next business day.
With the number of physical locations we have Nationwide, stock may have to be relocated from one city to another before being shipped to you. We will endeavour to notify you of any undue delays.
If extra information is required to process your order, such as credit card verification, this can sometimes take longer. If you have ordered an item that is out-of-stock or sold-out, we will attempt to contact you immediately. Kindly understand that a delay may also occur if your credit card was declined; for address verification; if your billing address was entered incorrectly; or if order details were omitted.
Please note that these delivery times are target times and are not guaranteed by Couriers and can sometimes take longer. If you require a product urgently, please don't leave it to the last minute to order.
PLEASE NOTE: Rural and some residential areas may require additional delivery time. Rural Delivery, for example, take 2-3 days longer than a normal delivery.
Gift Cards & Vouchers
Gift Cards, and any website issued Gift Vouchers, are subject to the following general Terms and Conditions:
- Gift Cards & Vouchers are not redeemable for cash;
TIP : If the expiry date is drawing near and you don't want to lose the balance on it, but aren't ready to purchase, you can re-charge the card with a minimum of $20. This will extend the expiry date of the ENTIRE BALANCE for another 12months from the date of successful the re-charge.
Deposits / Pre-Orders
In the event that an item requires a deposit in order to secure it for you, this deposit amount will be 25% of the RRP. In some cases, this deposit may be non-refundable and this can be for a variety of reasons. We will let you know before you make your payment, if the deposit is non-refundable.
The balance of the sales price will be required to be paid upon collection, or an approved finance contract arranged.
