29 August 2010 KBB Music Festival Showcase Gala Concerts, 2pm & 6.30pm
The 27th annual Music Festival showcases Orchestras, Chamber Orchestras, Concert Bands & Jazz Bands of secondary schools in Auckland.
A platform for young musicians, the four day event includes adjudicated performances and a Fringe Festival for novice bands in the prestigious venue of the Auckland Town Hall. The Festival celebrates musical talent with a Gala Concert and presentation of awards.
Adjudicators for the 2010 KBB Music Festival include Philip Green (Symphony Orchestras), Brigid O'Meeghan (Chamber Orchestras), Owen Clarke (Concert Bands) and Rodger Fox (Jazz Bands).

An annual celebration of Concert Bands and Symphonic Bands nationwide. Ensembles and Solo performance opportunities for community and high school bands.

A national woodwind compeitition for Primary, Intermediate, Secondary & Tertiary students of Flute, Clarinet, Oboe, Saxophone & Bassoon.
