The Buffet 4052 is a French oboe, the home of the conservatory system. This is an intermediate instrument designed for advancing students. Made of tone-rich Grenadilla wood, the bore design is based on the professional oboe and is lined with a luracast coating (an epoxy resin) to resist cracking. The 4052 is semi-automatic, and features conservatory system, silver-plated keywork, fish skin and cork pads, double G# and Eb, double C# trill keys, left F-lever, and low Bb resonance key for professional fingering and feel.
