A Message from the Webb Group, Rockshop & KBB Music family

he entire Webb Group, Rockshop and KBB Music family are shattered by the events of last Friday.
We weep for those who are lost and mourn with those left behind.
We are shocked: We are numb.
We utterly condemn the senseless violence and unfathomable mindset of ignorance that would visit such hatred on innocent people. We are them and they are us. NZ belongs to all of us.
We stand united as a community of musicians in rejecting intolerance, violence and hate.
Music is a language that is universal. Music sees no colour, race or religion. It does not pass judgement. It celebrates diversity and the riches that flow from collaboration and community.
Music is a vehicle to bring our pain to the surface, getting it back to that humble and tender spot where, in time, it can lose its anger and become compassion again.
Music can be our salvation in the toughest times. There is music to cheer, music to help you cry it out of your system, and music to make you think of happier things.
Musical notes and words, strung together in harmony and with emotion can raise us to our feet: We stand now, together, our voices united in support, love and with hope.
"The true beauty of music is that it connects people. It carries a message, and we, the musicians, are the messengers." - Roy Ayers.
